RECOMMENDATIONS FOR STERILIZATION
In order to extend the life of both the autoclave and the instruments, it is also important to follow the recommended procedures. Below you can find a list of some precautions to follow.
1. The instruments should be cleaned with suitable disinfectants immediately after use.
2. Brush the instruments to remove any residue.
3. Rinse the instruments in running water at room temperature.
4. Rinse the instruments with ultrasound.
5. Rinse the instruments in demineralized water at room temperature.
6. Dry the instruments thoroughly.
7. If you need to sterilize instruments that are not wrapped in bags, the tray should be covered with suitable tissues to ensure that each sterilized instrument dries perfectly. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for each instrument.
8. Instruments such as scissors, forceps should be slightly opened. The mirrors should be placed face down.
9. If empty containers are sterilized, place them upside down to prevent water from accumulating.
