A = ALARMS
Alarms are caused by a fault in the autoclave that prevents the cycle from being completed successfully. This type of message generates an automatic recovery cycle, which means that the ongoing cycle will be cancelled. When running the reset program, the display will show the control phase of the process reset (RST). The sterilizer will then run the steps in the process that are absolutely necessary to reach the end of the cycle and will open door 1 to ensure that the load is safely removed.
W = WARNINGS
Warnings are caused by an autoclave fault. However, they do not cause the ongoing cycle to be reset. The cycle will continue until the end, receive the error-free cycle end indicator (except for Warnings W23, W32, W33, W47 and W48) and allow the load to be unloaded. However, it will not be possible to start a new cycle if the condition that generated the Warning is still present.
E = ERRORS
Errors occur when the autoclave user performs an inappropriate action; for example, trying to open the door in a situation that is not allowed for safety reasons. Such a message does not cause the ongoing cycle to reset.
